Church Site Dedication Ceremony
On September 26th, 2006 our parish celebrated the dedication of our land for our new church . The celebration included a mass celebrated with Bishop Kicanas at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds, a procession from the fair grounds to the property, a blessing of the property, and a celebration luncheon back at the fairgrounds that included folk dances from parish members, Alma Dolores Dancers, and Our Lady of Lourdes High School Folklorico Group. Guests came from as far away as Tucson, Nogales and Naco, and even outside our state, to help us celebrate the donation of land for our church.
