Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church is a Mission Church in Sonoita, AZ. We are a mission church to the parish of St. Therese in Patagonia, AZ. Both Our Lady of the Angels and St. Therese are part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson.
Our Church began holding Mass in Sonoita in the early 1980’s. Today, we routinely get 50+ folks at Mass on Sunday in our rural community of Sonoita, AZ. You can read more about the history of our church on the Our Lady of the Angels Church history page.
We are currently meeting in the bottom floor of a house in Sonoita, but our Mission Foundation is preparing to build our own Church building in which to celebrate Mass. Whether you live in the Sonoita area or just visiting, please feel free to join us for Mass and fellowship.
