The Fair is taking place at the Sonoita Fairgrounds and we will have a booth set up where you can purchase the dog biscuits as well as other items that will go to our Mission Foundation.

Our Lady of the Angels is part of the Diocese of Tucson and Bishop Kicanas presided over our ceremonies.

Today, I was updating a few of the informational pages we have on our site and was linking back to the Diocese on our about page. To my surprise, when I visited the Diocese of Tucson website, I found their header image to be from our very own dedication ceremony and Mass.

The Diocese has been very supportive of our efforts to build our own church building and its nice to see our little community featured so prominently on their website.

Today, we have uploaded some photos from the dedication Mass and ceremony for the property upon which we will be building our church. The dedication and Mass took place Sept 24, 2006 at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds and on our property.

After the Mass, presided over by Bishop Kicanas of the Diocese of Tucson, the congregation and visitors walked from the fairgrounds to the property for the dedication. After the dedication, we returned to the fairgrounds for food, refreshments, entertainment and fellowship.

Since attendance is normally down during these months and volunteers to work the Bingo events are harder to come by, we will take the Summer.

Look for Bingo to return in full earnest on the 3rd Monday of September and continue on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month through May. As always, we would love to get more players and volunteers the twice monthly bingo sessions.
